Hornby 'The Rambler' Train Set     This is 'The Rambler' train set by Hornby and comes with a locomotive, closed van, plank wagon and 4 wheel coach.  The track is an oval shape ( 1090 mm x 940 mm ) and comes with a mains transformer, train controller, connecting clips for underneath the track.Comes boxed small amount of damage to box not to bad in working order.

There were times when trains like the Midland Flyerhauled freight as well as a single coach along the small branch line that criss-crossed the centre of England. This set includes a smart 4 wheel locomotive whose heritage can be traced back to the end of the 19th Century. Also included are a selection of wagons plus a small coach which emulates those small local trains of days gone by. The oval of track with siding adds a degree of operational interest as wagons have to be shunted to and fro allowing them to be 'dropped off' and picked up on the return journey.
